Privacy Policy
Furbos Pty Ltd (ABN 64 682 197 350) is an Australian company and we handle your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email, phone number and delivery address, so we can send you a bottle
- Your order history and refill schedule
- What you tell us about your pet when you email us, because that is how we help you
- Standard technical data: device, browser, IP address, and how you moved through the site
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and by PayPal, and the card details go straight to them.
Why we collect it
To take your order, ship it, run your refill, answer your emails, and to send you the seasonal pollen warning email if you asked for it. We also use aggregate data to work out which ads are worth running, which is the only reason the advertising cookies are there.
Who we share it with
Only the people who have to touch it: Shopify (our store platform), Australia Post (delivery), our payment processors, our email provider, and Meta and Google for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade your email list. Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States, and by using the site you consent to that transfer.
Marketing
Email marketing is opt in and every email has a one click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop your order and shipping notifications, which we have to send you.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart working. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and you can refuse them in the banner or in your browser. Refusing them will not break the site.
Access, correction and complaints
Email support@kovealabs.com and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, inside 30 days. We keep order records for 7 years because Australian tax law requires it. If you are not happy with how we handled a privacy issue, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
The store is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
