It started with Nala

Furbos started because of one dog. A staffy cross named Nala who scratched herself bald from September to March, every single year, for four years. Two vet dermatology referrals. Three food trials. Eighteen months on Apoquel. A cone in the boot of the car permanently.

Nothing worked because nothing was fixing the barrier.

Every product we were handed managed the symptom. Suppress the immune response, wait, watch it come back sooner than last time, book another consult. Nobody was talking about the structure underneath, the collagen barrier that is supposed to keep the allergens on the outside of the skin in the first place.

We blend and bottle every batch in Melbourne, in a HACCP certified facility, and we third party test every run in Australia for purity and heavy metals.

We are not a white label drop-shipper. We are not "designed in Australia, made offshore". Blended here, bottled here, batch tested here, and every genuine bottle carries its Melbourne batch number on the base.

Every order is picked and packed by hand in Alexandria, Sydney and goes out the same day if you order before 2pm AEST. Melbourne and Sydney metro usually see it next day. Perth and the regions, three to four days.

It costs more to make it this way. It is also the only way we can tell you what is in the bottle without crossing our fingers.

A lot of the "Australian" pet collagen advertised here ships from a third party warehouse overseas, which is why it takes three weeks and arrives with a customs sticker.

      The formula was built with Australian registered veterinarians, including Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Walsh, and refined with a Melbourne contract manufacturer over eleven batches before we sold a single bottle.
